If you see in ver.5 black flames or have trouble when Flak explode,download this texture Flame.
Info:
any VGA(probably only ATI) cards cannot loading size texture 36x36 in ver.5. I resize texture to 32x32.

copy file to:***\MODS\Buffy Flaks\effects\Explodes\Air\Zenitka\USSR_85mm and overwrite file "flame.tga".

PLS if fix is good ,write your feedback. I later replace texture in ver.5.exe or next ver.

I had totally forgotten about my troubles with v.5 until I checked this thread out again earlier today. DL'd the new smaller flak textures provided in link and everything is gravy. Good Work and thank you very much!

I have solution for it. I prepare next version because need new files. In next ver. will be add new texture for objects loading texture "SmokeA.tga". I do any tests and this texture can help globaly increase FPS in scene over ships or explode more bombs. I shall still 2weeks out of home.
Sorry for my long time but waiting pls. that will be probably final ver.for this MOD.

Nothing to do with the mod go into conf.ini in the game folder and look in sounds section and turn your atenuation from 7 or 8 to 5 it's an EAX setting your hearing.

Changing to 32x32 fixed the stutter problem for me (His X1950Pro).

This is one of the best little mod's I have installed, I love flying through flak now.

I made a little mission on the Midway map and the flak doesn't show up at all. I use it on Cannons Channel map and it looks awesome! Any ideas why I can't see them on Midway?

Same here. Replacing the "flame.tga" solved my flickering screen.
Great mod, and no fps drop whatsoever.

This MOD finally works for me but theres one small problem:
When i play with effects=1 in conf.ini everything works just fine but i prefer to play with effects=2 and the flak smoke turns gray instead of black .
Is it possible to solve the problem? :?

Buffy.....You are da' man!....These flak bursts are perfect. I actually love getting shot at now...haha....Just to see these going off around me really adds to the immersion of this sim...You modders rock At first i thought the fire was a bit overkill, but realized that this is definetely the way I like it to look. Tho i never seen flak bursts during the day in real life and not too sure if you'd see actual fire during the day. But i am glad i downloaded this it's really awesome looking..Will have to fly a night mission now :wink: ..Very F'n cool man!

Might I inquire, is there some way to disable the fire and sparks while retaining everything else about the mod? I'm not to keen on the fiery explosion because I've never seen footage where that was how flak exploded.
