im wondering if we should start a kind of information database for mission builders as ive not really come across anything like that anywhere else

Do you have any information of any battle which quotes the name "Specht"? I wanted to know about the battles he was in. In the beggining he was in the Battle of Britain with the BF-110, but later on he became a 4 engine bombers destroyer (viermott

Specht the data im really interested in finding for people is mainly on battles & the pilots in them not so much data on specific pilots as this takes a lot more time to find

but anyway ive pieced together all the info i have found so far

Absolutely yes! Thanks a lot! (On that G5... is that a droptank?)

I think I will make a mission based on Operation BodenPlatte, but it's weird, cause one source tells me he flew on BodenPlatte with 109, and the other source tells me he flew BodenPlatte with Fw 190 A-9 (W.Nr. 205 033)

I was looking for informations about north Africa war during 1942.

First ... i dont really know when Axis did loose north africa to the allied army ...

And also i dont know if bf-109 G2 were already used to fight in thoose days ... I have a custom made campaign but it involves only F4 version.

Meanwhile i'll sneak around and grab informations from public il-2 servers Smile

If you have any aerial pics of any of the Solomon island airfields that may be in some books of yours, myself and the other Slot guys can use them. We've scraped the internet pretty hard to gather data but will always welcome more. the stuff from the pacific wrecks site is already in our Slot library and has already been studied.
Basicly pics from books that haven't had there contents put up on the WWW yet.

just PM or Email it to myself, Sunk, Cheech, or Spud

We have the new Slovakia map, but I'm finding it hard to get information on what airforce units were involved and in what capacity/nature of ops flown etc..
I know there was an uprising there towards the end of the war apparently backed by the US, but what aircraft were involved if any.. (Axis and Allied).

Thanks in advance. DPS
