Have you tried to put the sound quality option in 44khz?
when you extract the Sound Mod you receive a Block of notes :"read_this_first "
it Says this:
"Possible some bugs with NGen, DGen and something else.
!!!Attention!!! This mod don't work with checkruntime=2
If map not loaded, and crashes on 30%, install in sound quality option 44kHz."
Check these features and then youre cleared to play :wink:

Sorry, but I don't see an option during the install, to select 44kHz? Does the readme mean that you should run IL2Setup.exe and select 44kHz, or manualy change the conf.ini?
[EDIT]OK, I ran IL2Setup.exe and set the sound to 44.1kHz. It works that way. Thx.
