Sounds to me like this jc dude is just a huge pussy who likes to whine about something thats really good.
Lets define cheating shall we as it pertains to video games?
Cheating - the act of downloading files that gives you an unfair advantage over others.
Now, lets see here.
All that has been done on this site is
A. Sound mod - added more realistic sounds to the game which should have been there in the first place.
B. 6DOF - added more immersion to the game thus allowing you to fly the sim more realistically then before, which also should have been there from the start (oleg was just too lazy to add support)
C. AI Flyables - Adds even more immersion to the game by allowing you to fly ww2 aircraft that should have been added in the first place by oleg (again, he was too lazy). These ww2 AI flyables made huge impacts on ww2 and should have been allowed as flyable aircraft from the beginning.
Now lets see here... none of those reasons listed has given anyone an unfair advantage above anyone else now has it? Especially since the mods don't work on checkruntime=2 servers anyway... thus voiding them out. Thats what I thought - now if your so against this site and these mods, then why sit here making post after post knocking the site and its members and mods? Why not just leave and go back to whatever rock you crawled out from underneath?
Now, on the subject of this... plane I guess you could call it.
I believe this is the wrong type of modding... yes its interesting to see what can be done but treading on this ground is dangerous. Granted this wont work on pub servers unless both the server and the client have the aircraft files... because its technically a new airplane. This is different then FM modifications... as those can be used on pub servers due to the server already having the airplane files.
As of right now its no big deal...
