Jolly and Wolf have already said they won't allow mods that attempt this.

as much as this idea is rather ingenious, and i must here offer a congratulations on this... I must also express my concern that please please PLEASE dont modify the FM or DM profiles of ANYTHING. PLEASE if you do this would just make the scaremongers/idiots/JC121469's, jump up and down with glee.

On that note though, I must ask... Could you perhaps make a spit with tear drop canopy? Like the Mk XVI? Using perhaps the MkVIII CW as a base? perhaps using eliments from a tempest or p-51d?

If you could make a Mk.XIV Griffon I'd probably pass out Smile

Or a tropicalised Hurricane. An A6M3-2, Bf109D or radar equippeed Me110's.

(Cosmetic changes only. All with un-altered FM/DM of course!)

Great work on shortening the fuselage Ranwers! The join is pretty well concealed. I'd love to see how far you can go with this. Some questions occur to me:

Do you think the meshes can be properly blended at some time, or is that impossible?
The wing is also a little too small in area. Can you re-scale meshes?

As I'm sure you know, the wing is not quite correct in plan view and doesn't yet have the Typhoon's gull shape.

I look forward to seeing if you can improve on things to the point where opposition fades away. Big Grin

Perhaps using the P-51-D or Tempest hood, and Mx IX fuz (cut down somehow...?), with MkVIII Clipped wings?

Sorry to go on, but this would REALLY be AWSOME!
