Now, when we can choose between 4.05 and 4.08, we can do many things in 4.05. Since first allied plane in game I wish to have Spitfire Mk.I. If we managed to import 3D models into game (I belive it is possible) and change FM, we could make Battle of Britain mod. This mod would include Spitfire Mk.I, Vickers Wellington, A.W. Whitley, HP Hampden, Avro Anson, Westland Lysander, Boulton Paul Defiant, Blackburn Skua, Fairey Battle, Dewoitine D.520, Berguet 693, Do-17, Bf-109E-1 and E-3, Ju-88A-1 and map of Cannel. Do we want this?

I think for 4.05 it's not problem.... This don't help make change in 4.08....

I think it is useless to add new aircraft if we do not change the FM
I often tried the Cr42 as a Cr32 hack, and was always upset by the performance differences.

Tweeking Fm's on new planes is absolutely fine IMO. Why the heck not! 8)
The Fm's IMO were never that great to begin with for il-2 planes. Heck just look at the jet fm's!

I'm not 100% sure on this, but I agree that any new aircraft introduced will have to have the FM tweaked so that it fits in with the rest of the IL2 stable..
If it's controlled and is as accurate as possible. (and I'm not sure what form of control this would take).. But, as I've posted before on this issue, I'm leaning towards not interfering with existing FM's, but introducing accurate new aircraft with the appropriate flight envelopes..
I'm not quite clear on the situation in 4.05.
If new planes can be created and listed separately in the GUI as an addition to the planeset, then IMO they should have a tailor-made FM - based on an existing one, but fine tuned. No problem.
On the other hand, if the only way to introduce new aircraft in 4.05 is to substitute one 3D model with another - and you're asking do we want the original FM changed under those circumstances (to suit the altered model) - then I think I'd avoid 4.05 altogether, as it just gets too messy.
4.05 is less secure, meaning more moddable. New aircraft being added to the aircraft list should be easyer then in 4.08, once the time comes i will be glad to make FM's for which ever.
My Opion on FM moddeding.... let it happen... as long as people dont abuse it.
