Perhaps the Ju-88 cockpit or the He-111?

Really this one is a stumper and raises a question, What do you plan to do if you can't find a suitable cockpit (or turret) for a particular plane? Are you going to omit that plane or gunners position or use something that is ahistorical ?

Just looking at some of the other cockpits, although the Ju-88 has the better overall shape, inside its just not suitable..
I think the view you have posted is as close as we are going to get with what we have in game..

These things are fine as placeholders - one's imagination fills in the gaps, so it's no problem.
But I wonder if QTim could help in getting 3D models into the game? I see he is registered here. I'd approach him about the difficulties myself, but - I just don't have the knowledge!

now lets see if i can get o control stick to function in this pit hock:
you know i think you need some imagination in the first place to play a 'sim' so stretching it a bit further is ok i think - but i klnow what you mean im as desperate as the next to get new 3d into this game
