G4M2E+OHKA suicide bomb

The V1 is the only special object of the type "rocket". The Ohka in fact is a simple plane like every other, and as well flyable with external cameras if you write them in your .mis-file (as every other AI plane)

Of course you need to put an airstart for the lack of a gear Wink , but it has a FM, full engine management and dries its fuel resources a bit later than the BI does.

The BI1-cockpit would surely be one of the best fitting, as they are quite similar shaped (well, like a simple rocket, that is Wink ).

With a bit of usual tweaking it surely would also be possible to make the thing attachable, at least for coop-missions.

Dogfight missions would possibly work as well, but the carrier plane would be required to drive over the Ohka so it can attach, as the Ohka would just lie around at the airfield (remember, no gear Wink )

That would amount to hot-keying between the cockpits of different flyables (- and before the purists howl, Oleg has indicated that this will be in SOW BoB as an option).

In other words, I'd wager that if you could do this for the Ohka and Betty, you could probably do it for any number of planes.

I think there may have been some confusion here, The Ohka is listed in the game as the MXY7-11 and is not related to the V1 rocket. Hopefully it's something simple like this that's keeping us from having these great planes added to our inventory.

Interesting thought. This feature is already available in Lomac and goes a long way to make up for ai behaviour in single player. Oleg & Co. made Lomac too, and there are many other features that in it that would also be great in IL2. Reload & rearm for example Arrow Idea

My biggest gripe about the other forums, too many of those loose cannon types who've elected themselves Judge and Executioner. They won't even try or admit they tried the mod however make anyone else who has out to be cheating hackers, I've got more modded games than not and have yet to see any cheats, some are even supported and advertised on the manufacturers homepages. but we're the bad boys, well...watcha' gone do.
