i have a question:
can anyone make that the bf-109 side windows open and with the help of mouse mod to get your head out? or by a key conseption like O+

Try to open your window car at more than 200 Km/h get your head out and look back, :wink: then tell us if this is possible when you are flying at 400Km/h. :roll:

Can't dude,i don't have a car Tongue i ride a bike,and the point is not to get the hole head out just a little to see who is behind you or when you are taking off(more when taking off).

i would say only an option that you can lock aut of the bf on ground!
becouse in air its non realistic!

i can live with only on the ground,but if you can't get your head out how the japanese and some american planes can open there canopy? but if you can to make it to poen on the ground and get your head out i will be very happy S!

The canopy frame was quite heavy.
When it was closed it was usually closed by both pilot and a crew member so as not to clunk the pilot" before" leaving dispersal and locked from the inside by the pilot.

If the pilot had to bail he pulled on not the lock, but the emergency canopy release which lifted the frame off the pin fixtures and the wind did the rest. It wasn't like a sliding canopy at all.
Becauseof the way it worked, Luftwaffe pilots referred to it as the coffin lid.
The idea isn't very realistic now is it? Smile
