Hey Wolf, glad you like it.
It's going to be several more days.
Then you can climb up,buckle in and hope your wingie has recovered enough from that blast of oxygen he took to sober up a few minutes ago.

Razor, its the real thing Big Grin
No tricks.
I'm running with a 7950 GT
Anti Trancparency set on Multi
I dumped my crappy Nvidia drivers for a set of NGO 116369's.
2 Gigs of DDR 2
I'm also usng Avalas Planshine Mod...You should get it if you dont have it,
Plus a number of other little tweaks.
I could never run on 16x

Wolf,
I'll send you a PM.

I've got a 7950 as well, and also 2 gigs of RAM. I guess I'll have to do some tweaking of my own! I do have Avalas' Planeshine mod installed.

Fisneaky:

For modified ATI drivers, the Omegas are the best.

You can find them here: http://www.omegadrivers.net/

If you have any problems the folks at DriverHeaven can usually help you: http://www.driverheaven.net/forum.php?s=

I tried those NGO Drivers... And well... mixed feelings about them...

I tried them for my Nvidia 7900, to fix this problem:

but unfortunatly it didnt. Seems my problem remains with my PSU... there is two words of warning with this:

The drivers nuked my Nvidia Chipset drivers (had to reinstall them) and nuked my Razor Copperhead mouse - which took me sever attempts to reinstall afterwards...

I'm sorry you've had all that trouble.

Just speaking from my own experience,I have never ever had a problem with the NGO 215822's or the latest 116369's.
I found that they were very reliable and much better on my PC than any Nvidia driver I had tried. I, and a good number of my mates all use them. Especially to get rid of that black water ring in IL2.
Before installing, always uninstall your Nvidia graphics driver from the control panel.
They do not work with any ATI card. Only Nvidia ones.
You can see what kind of color and resolution I have from the grab I posted in 1280x1024.
My game always looks like that. Also reduced shimmering between water and land with settings on Perfect, and Water on 4.

I did all that the first time - and it did all the above problems. Although I uninstalled it, and then Reinstalled it again, and swapped my 12v rails over, then overclocked my graphics card in Steps of 50 (over a period of an hour) and now - PERFECT - fixed the above problem.

I use these, never had any problem and find them better then NGO’s, they do both Ati and Nvidia.
