Does it just freeze and the sound stutters?

I had a spate of this when my PSU fan started "binding" and things began running hot.(all sorted now after a strip down and lube job  )

Are you sure it is due to the Mods? Can you run the un-modded game OK?

Well the best place I have found for tech help over the years is the ubi community help forum. It is not a 'mod problem' so don't mention it or the help will be less than helpful

Clogs everything up and makes the comp overheat.
Could also be a driver issue,or even a psu problem.

It can't hurt. Big Grin

Whether it be a little fan on a graphic card or the computer's huge power supply block fan, after a year or so they are smeared in fine dust filaments. If a heatsink is placed beneath a fan it can accumulate quite a bunch of dust. This lowers the cooling performance of the fan.

Computers and electronics in general don't like heat. Cool air needs to be brought into a case, and then the host air dispelled. If the airways are blocked, system temperature can rise quickly. If your computer is stable but the CPU is running too hot, you cut down on its lifespan, potentially quickly.

More important to many people though, may be the result of that first heat related computer lock up.
