Hang on, does this involve having multiple computers? That seems a little overkill just to play your favorite games and not have you kids get their grubby little hands on your keyboard. Plus, its probably out of most peoples finances.
actually it's just like having ten computers in one box..... because each partition which you install an OS in or copy from another OS...each is virtually a different computer... and it is very easy to swap from one to another...... they all use the same page file and stuff...just have Anti-virus software on the one/ones on the internet...etc.
Instead of PM I'll ask you a couple of questions...so that others can read the answers too....
How does HOS deal with external hard drives?
If you have one OS only for il2.... and fly on hyperlobby and off-line....would you have an Anti-Virus on that one or no need?
Yes...I tried it yesterday....if you still have not used all your available partitions (11=geek, 22=supergeek)...then it will include an external drive and put its little 'Hyperos.ini' file in there too...
the only trouble is that tranfer of data via USB is so slow...
I've always thought that a clean install for il2 only wouldn't need an AV...and if you only go to Hyperlobby it should be pretty safe.
The only thing is that you would have to wait for a system scan to catch any virus in that drive....and not get a quick alert from a properly running watchful AV.
I've never used Outlook Express either, preferring to go through Messenger....... and there is no need to surf the web looking for porn...it is thrust in our face everywhere nowadays
Gotta love that Smart Porn - IT comes to YOU
