the above pic is someone looking through a MiG-15 gunsight but im thinking this may also look just look like the Askania EZ 42 sight too ? what do you think ? i would like to correct our Askania EZ 42 gunsight mods to look like this if it is.

Interesting. I wouldn't be surprised if it was. The soviets copied all sorts of German equipment, including jet engines and even leather flying helmets...
