How come some of these mods only work opn certain planes? Is it because the modders just haven't figured out how to get them in there yet?

well, you must find gunsight.tga of other cockpits .... make it editable ( to open with graph.editors) via game engine( replace splash screen ... printscreen.... past .... edit alpha channel ) ... put in files\3do\cockpit\ "desired plane" folder . BTW that can be done with any part of cockpit ....

Or wait for Avala, Bee and guys who are doing reskinned cockpits to publish their mods and you will be able to put pic in any of them ....
