Hello!
In IL2 games distant planes are shown by a dot (prob. two black and gray one) when an airplane is further than 5 km or something. No shapes, no polygons, just dots.
It was reducing a video card & processor calculations for distant objects. Now we have got much faster computers so it would be reasonable to move the frontier further.
It would be especially appreciated by people using higher resolutions than 1024x768. For e.g. 1600x1200 a dot is very-very small point and it is VERY difficult to spot it.
