the poll was never my descision and really it should never have been done - it was done by wasy & he didnt clear it with me or wolf first before doing it - but i dont blame him for that but really i should have removed it earlier - i never wanted that poll to be there

Re FMs and DMs - I agree, we don't need changes to Oleg's originals, but we will certainly need tailor made ones for new aircraft eventually. Either that, or the game becomes an arcade mess with unhistoric FMs and DMs stuck onto new models.

It's the weapons thing where I have to agree with UF Josse and LAL Rone. Realism is being sacrificed here for the sake of a quiet life - how can anyone support retaining blatantly wrong loadouts and muzzle velocities etc? It's absolute nonsense - but not a problem, if you know where to look. :wink:

No one is afraid of the anti-modders - and that doesn't mean that some of the anti-modders fears, blown out of proportion or not, are also not shared by pro-modders.

In the end, the point is moot. This site isn't a democracy, it's administrated by one person, MrJolly.. his word goes. Accept it, or move on.

you have to realise that we didnt all aggree with the descision to create the poll in the first place - in fact Wasy created it but the other 2 of the main descision makers (Me & wolf) didnt want it - so 2 out of 3 of us didnt want the poll - so i was the one who moved / removed it

yes ou are right its not a democracy but at the same time im also hoping we do have some kind community thing here & that we can make many important decisions together as a community.

My opinion is that if the poll wasn't good in this site it had to be removed -immediately- Not after some time. Leaving it some days as did.. then whatever result has to be respected.
And consider always that may be the chance only to -Correct- FM/Dm by some modders.I suggetsted a Team of 3 modders that release the correction.Not more than this I think couldn't effect other than a more accurate game. 8)

No it dosnt - if its going to effect the game drastically / ruin the online game then no ! i made the right descsion in my opinion for the good of the online communty - im sorry if you cant understand this then there is nothing more i can do - and like i said we didnt all aggree. it took time to come to this descision too.

If everyone was to upgrade to these Fm's then yes its fesable - but not everyone will , only a small percentage will do so meaning the rest of the people will have different fms to the modded ones downloaded by a small percentage of the modding communty - think about it! the online community would be a mess!

MrJolly don't you think using the mod only to correct fm/dm planes as i explained may be a good compromise between publicaton of planes data and not correction at all? We all are flying your mod whatever fm/dm they have and seem to me there aren't noticeable complains about - we all seem be mature people here and we are not at UbiZoo too..luckly then, may be to consider this way? 8)

ive moved the poll regarding FM DM editing

im really sorry to say but my opinion on FM/DM tweaking is something im not prepared to be swayed on - i do not want FM tweaks for 4.08 on this site for now at least - the big main reason being that it would screw up online play way too much. We need a standard that is the same for all, if we start changing FM then there would be no set standard anymore & everybody would have a different FM from each other

its not that i like the FM for this sim , far from it

ive also explained in detail before (i just wish i could remember where?) why i dont think we should
maybe in future but not now.
if we manage somehow to get new 3d or new aircraft into the game then ok we will need new fm for that.

also i fully support changing FM for 4.05 as this is not played by everone online - no problems there

Yes MrJolly, I KNOW WELL you never touched fm/dm for you A.I. mod-flying birds-this is clear, but I think that IF you would have even change them there were no people that complain about that. Please give your opinion about the rest of my suggestion, as may be I'm wrong, but the more I think about it, the more I think may be a good solution/compromise for all who voted for having corrections about fm data of some verified crappy fm planes Oleg give us 8)
