for the following models - which cockpit do you think is best suited

Ki-46-III Kai, 1944
Ki-46-III Kai Otsu, 1945
Ki-46-III Recce, 1943

remember its a twin engined aircraft

In my opinion it should be cockpit from p38, and tail gunner from bf110. Of course ckocpit from bf110 would be OK too, but...There are more of these cockpits in our game (mod, I mean), so I was thinkong about adding sth new.

Well, I checked on the net but I didn't find any Ki-46 cockpit pictures....but definetely NOT P-38 or Bf 110.Does anyone know if Ki-46 had T-joke or not? If the answer is yes I would suggest an A-20C cockpit (but with a new gunsight).If not I think that the J2M (preferebly J2M5) is the better option, especially if the Ki-46 had a fighter stick, BUT there is another alternative that you should not dismiss entirely in the first place...Bf 109Z.

(And DON'T hurry at all.Take your time to do a god mod!!)

For Ki-46-III Kai Otsu, 1945, if possible see if you can manage to get the oblique cannons to work from the cockpit position using the sights from the Ar-234... if there is a way to point that sight in the same direction as the oblique cannon...

In Pe2 pilot is not in the center of cockpit. P38 would be more adequate for Ki46.
