Just had a look at all three.. Definately not the A20.. look at the cockpit shots and then fly the A20, not right at all..
Beaufighter has the ergonomicaly correct type of control column mounted from the centre and isn't a bad fit..
The P-38 has it's control column coming coming in at right angles from the right and isn't correct and has a mass of controls that the Ki-46 didn't have crammed into the front of the cockpit..
Having said that, it would have to be between the Beau and the Lightning!

I played a bit and cockpit of J2M3 would be better than P38. It fits almost perfectly.

But it's not equipped for a twin engine... So it can't be perfect. We need to have instruments for both engines.

Basically, nothing fits well on this. Jolly put an P-38 and it feels so un-natural, but my guess is that the same would have been if it was one of the other candidates.Since the beggining the plane gives the impression of distict personality, the plane has a personality in its feel and this feel is so natural, looks like the FM is well developed. It deserves a new cockpit and if someone can come up with one, I 'll be grateful to him. Like I am to Jolly for giving us the chance to try it.
