Mod CTD at 5%

Hi all,

I am having problems when attempting to run the sound Mod. I am running ver 4.08m on a fresh install. I am using a copy of the original placed in a separate directory and have the sound setting at 44100.

I get the Russian load screen however once it gets to 5% the game always crashes to desktop. I have tried various setting but have had no luck. One thing I have noticed is that when using DirectX mode instead of Open GL I get a wrapper log file which lists some errors.

I should also add that my copy of 1946 was purchased as a D/L at the ubi site and includes all FB products and add on's to date in one installation as opposed to an add on. Could this have something to do with it?

In your il2 set up screen,set your sounds to 44000mhz.See if that helps.
