Well, here it is.

NEW LINK:

It's my first mod, don't expect too much of it, I used the recorded sound from Rudel's plane from a YouTube vid.

The read me file:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
|Slow/Grote Duikboot/Ulrich Rudel's 37mm BK3.7 sound mod (for the Ju-87G-1) |
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

YOU HAVE TO HAVE DOWNLOADED THE SOUND MOD FIRST

Extract in the Files/Samples directory and overwrite.

Make backups first

Excellent! I also find the old 'new' canon sound to be less than convining. Sounds more like a railgun from Quake, lol.

BTW, you might have muffed the link. Doesn't take you anywhere near the said download :?

No.. can't find it, it's not under Pacific fighters or IL2 1946 files.. Searched for 10 mins, had enough...

Hey Slow,

I had Downloaded and tested your Mod...

but I must say it seems, my onboard-sound card can't playback your file right the way.

I have a monster echo sound after "boom" shot... like in a Concert Hall.
I think your Sound is allright...

Sorry, at this point I can't give a real feedback.

My next Hardware will be a near good Sound Card... or Santa brings it next...will see.

Again I'm sorry.

Best regards,

renmik

That huge echo is like

Hey Slow,

I would be happy if it would do Boom! Whoosh....

Your description is corect than....

but my ears are bleeding 'cause I hear by one shot
"BOOOM-booom-booom-WHOOOSH-whooosh-whooosh"

I had let testet by a friend on his system... there everything is fine: Single shot "BOOM! whoooosh"

There is somewhere a multiplicator or something...
I will test settings and effects of Sound on Sound card tomorrow.

And a big THX of my friend...he tells its awesome...good work mate !!

On some occasions it might do Boom-Woosh-Boom-Woosh or Boom-Boom-woosh-woosh since the two guns sometimes sound separately but more than two shots is just wrong.
