Can someone who has been using the sound mods and new maps and other mods.....and has successfully updated to 4.09m-beta.... and everything is working correctly....please write a detailed explanation for those having trouble....

I have the patch from Ubi......(not the skins yet)
I tried to download the modded version by Jolly's link but cannot complete a download

How do i proceed to patch my 4.08 modded version

I have heard that the destruction mod causes problems....which files do we delete from our filelist to stop that working?

can we only mod a fresh install of the sound mod?

the easiest is still to try downloading Jolly's patch...
About destruction mod, if you still have the downloaded archive, maybe try unpacking in a temporary folder and see what lines added to filelist.txt...

If you manage to get Jolly's download properly, delete or add "/" marks to the front of these entries to disable the destruction mod:

//Effects/Explodes/Objects/Tank_Collapse/Burn.eff

Then install jolly's patch to a temp folder before draggging and dropping the 409b stuff into your 1946 folder. Backup your Files.sfs and core.dll's first though.

After that, add these lines to your All.ini:

Slovakia Slovakia/load.ini
Slovakia_Online Slovakia/load_online.ini
Bessarabia Bessarabia/load.ini
Iasi_Online Bessarabia/load_Iasi.ini
Odessa_Online Bessarabia/load_Odessa.ini
MTO MTO/load.ini

I cannot download Jolly's patch because my internet connection sucks...and using IE or Firefox the downloads stop after a while and cannot be resumed....whereas the ubi one can use a downloader

I already have the ubi patch...but want to know how to convert it into the modded one before messing everything up...

some have said Jolly's one only works on a fresh install of sound mod??

has anyone got everything working?...all the planes and smoke mods etc.?
