Guys,

I finally got the latest QMB installed & can now get the new Slovakia/Bessarabia maps to open - however they still dont appear in my FMB list of maps ??

I have the proper entries for them in my all.ini - any ideas ?

I have 4.09b1m & soundmod .93 plus loads of mods installed.

Is your all.ini file entered into the filelist?

Hoped that might be the reason but nope - maps/all.ini definitely there !!

Hi,

I'm having the same problem with the same install as pomak. (But I don't have the QMB mod installed.)
I just reinstalled 1946 and patched up through 4.09beta and did my first mod dlds tonight--sound, AAApack and Avala's skin pack and don't have Slovakia. And no sound but prop on F4F and some other planes, which is mentioned on another thread.

Skunkmeister, after drooling for weeks, I'll finally be able to try your Slot map tomorrow night. Got to hit the sack for now.

Discovered my error!

I was updating the wrong all.ini - I have 2 - one in files/maps & one in files/maps/all_ini - I updated the wrong onwe !!

Help anyone? I don't have 2 all.ini files like pomak did. Any ideas? Also, I don't have any objects above #602 in the FMB--it's as if .093 doesn't work with 4.09beta. Maybe it doesn't and I just missed reading that somewhere?

Someone mentioned on another thread that after .093 mod was installed you had to put the former files.SFS file back in the game folder, but when I did that, it just reverted back to 4.08 without the mods activated (the text in all.ini and filelist for the sound mods were still there).


This is getting frustrating. Anyone have any ideas?
