Maraz, is there any news on this? The_Slot is way too big to use the manual method. If no current solution, is anybody out there working on a tool to do this automatically? If not, can one of you graphic-smart guys look into it? IMHO this is one of the few issues that absolutely needs to be resolved. The_Slot is just too nice to be marred by this issue, and we could really use some help on this one.

Is there a fix available for this problem?

I just noticed something when I opened map_h from Guadalcanal...it has the repeating pixel grid on it too!

supposed to be. I'll re-extract it to be sure.

EDIT: If you extract map_h for Guadalcanal from fb_maps07p, you will see the grid pattern.

Worked ok for me. Can still see the 32 pixel boundaries but only because I'm looking closely.

Here is an enlarged portion of my map_H from Guadalcanal, just extracted from the SFS file, I cannot see the repeating pixels that there should be at 96, 128, 160... :?

Are there around different versions of the sfs files ? Confusedhock: Confusedhock: Confusedhock:
