I'm still looking for 1939/40 info, preferably images or maps, of airfields in Southern Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany close to the borders with Belgium and Luxembourg.

In the first issue of the Northeast France map I want to include the Belgian airfields at Nivelles and Leige-Bierset, and possibly Schaffen.

Dutch airfields will be included in the second issue. I have some info on these.

Looking at the IL2 map of the Ardennes it seems that most of the airfields shown are not based on real life --- or am I wrong?

In Luxembourg what airfields were there in 1939/40? My modern map shows one at Wiltz and Luxembourg. Were both of these sites of old airfields.

In Germany the bomber fields were further east than the east edge of my map but there were advanced fighter airfields. Was there one at Trier? I have a reference to one at Valkenburg, nr Aachen, which was a satellite airfield, but no images or maps.

Any help would be gratefully received.
