OSS & 1st Air Commando Group Campaign (B-25H)

It became clear to me that this topic should have been posted here, rather than in the download section.

Sorry about that,

Here is a link to the Discussion topic on my current campaign project, which is about an ex Flying Tiger pilot whom joins the OSS, and then is sent to join the 1st Air Commando Group as an OSS Agent.

This link will take you to Preview Stories, and Pictures of the Campaign.

Just had time to fly the first mission yesterday......
great to fly the Nomad with a purpose, not just pottering around as i've done up 'til now...
excellent harbours and bases....a lot of work for a map....not sure yet how much use this map will get in the campaign....you make good use of those crimea rock objects....and having those lights showing gives a feeling of life and activity there....not just a dead empty base...(makes you want to pull your head down in your collar and lower your height to 'sneek' past them)

I landed by the submarine and taxied past getting the secondary notification....then took off...but before i reached the next island the 'primary failed' message came up.....and when i landed at the final point i got no message.......was the mission set with a 'time-out'..? the brief didn't mention any schedule

nice use of the 'Briefsounds' too Big Grin

second mission...I kept low and must have been going faster than the default because I got bounced by the 190's before I got to the target....and the P-38's arrived just in time to see me fall....

next go I let the Auto take me...it flew quite high...(IRL the enemy fighters would have to have been really lucky to spot my black a/c low down in that poor light)

bombed the target and got hit by flak over the recce...but made it to the airstrip OK

the P-38's all got downed

fourth mission finished...

why do I get the message 'Mission ended ..Primary target failed' before landing on every mission
are they all timed...if so it is too short because I was following the AI....and the briefings make no mention of a time-out
