I installed version 9.3 and all souns work great except the p51 and corsair. Can anyone tell me what is wrong. I am new here and don't know what to do. I love the new sounds I just can't get the p51 or corsair engine sounds.
You mean you have no sound at all? Or don't you like the new P51 and Corsair sounds?
I had the 9.3 version installed too but recently I decided to install de 9.0 version again due to some poor soundfiles, particularly the P51 and Corsair among others. At this point I'm making one soundmod from these two soundmods by putting the best samples together in one mod.... idea?

I have the same problem. The sounds are great, but only for those who do. The B-25, all carrier planes, P36, P47 en Mustangs do not have sound. You can only here some small background noise from the old sound engine, but nothing els. The guns do just fine, just like roling down the airstrip, but no engine sounds.
Exactly Godverdoom. Thank god I'm not the only one. No one here seems to be able to help me. Is there anything you have done to try to fix this. I have engine problems with exactly all the aircraft you just mentioned. Is there anything we can do to fix it?
I think we just have to wait for maybe a new release or so, but it can't be fixed with combining sound effects from both sound mod patches. The only way to counter attack this, is by using the 9.0 version, but than you have the sound problems for some bombers.

I too have the same issues..p-51..p-47.. both cats..A20 both versions ..SBDs.. Most U.S. planes except for 17s and 24s and 38s they sound fine the rest have issues..any answers? You boys did a great job and gave new life to the simm. Keep up the good work..I for one appreciate all this kewl stuff. :wink:
hey guys, i have got a solution! install the dive sounds for all aircraft.
i had that problem before and the diving sounds really helped
