Hey Guys,
Can one of you tell me how do I get the blood and dead pilot to show up in the cockpit when the pilot is shot dead. I had it before, but lost it when I reinstalled the game for modded version.

one thing...is it possible to change the color/size/layout of the splatters? In all the screenshots I've seen, it looks kind of unrealistic (though still pretty cool.)

Yes.. If the blood smears could be changed to a darker colour instead of brilliant red it may look more convincing..

I have highgore on but I don't see no blood, all I've got is cooler explosions

If you are accurate enough to kill the gunners or pilot you will see them slumped forward over the instrument panel or over the gun.. There will blood showing all around..
Or, wait until you have been killed yourself, and then switch to externals, you will see the same thing..

The blood only shows on some of the early IL2 software version aircraft, like 109, He111, IL2, Me210 and a few others.

I noticed when looking through these special a/c folders that they have extra model components that I guess are use to put the blood on?

If this is the case, I wonder if it would be possible to add this feature to other aircraft?

I dunno, but it would be a neat feature. I remember being able to see blood spattered inside the canopies in European Air War.

I saw the TGA for the blood somewhere. Can't remember the pathway now. I'll try to find it.

A lot of aircraft have the dead pilot/gunner slump, in fact most seem to. Only a few with blood, though, as Willy said. Would be a neat mod if you can figure it out, Bee. I'm basically helpless with this stuff, but am certainly willing to be a cheerleader!

lucky luke, do you have highgore on in the game settings or in the conf.ini?
very often, the game switch does nothing, you must physically change the highgore setting in the conf.ini, from 0 to 1....
