struwwelpeter, ur right about amd its a very good company with great gaming processors, have played many years on an amd x2 with great pleasure [ but worn out and old, it sadly crashed ...], intel however made a great progress with the core 2duo's, and so far amd is not yet capable to be as competitive as intel, listen i'm not a fan of intel but reviews and benchmarks are giving intel better marks and yes i would have liked to see amd was as good as intel nowadays ,my new pc would surely have been an AMD rig. the stability, the eas of OC'ing the cpu ectr...i was quit fond of it, maby my next pc is an AMD again.
