Rivers

Hello

Why the rivers has the same altitude of the ground? normally you found a river BELOW the normal ground. That means you can fly close to the water but below the ground.

I don't know about creating maps or MODS about maps, but if the artists that create or modify the maps can add this option.

There is an engine limitation that all the water (most, anyway) is at "sea level."

.... well they must be on strictly flat ground , you can make them higher than sea level but changing elevation must be really gradually . Been struggling with that for weeks now on my project ..... ( not sure how does ships works on higher alt rivers though .... didn't test them jet)

I have tested ships on lakes at raised altitude.

The ship becomes a submarine, because it is fixed at sea level.

If the water is not too deep you get smoke rising out of the water.

If you gradually raise the water level you can create a good impression of a submarine diving -- sort of.
