Hi guys.
First off let it be known that I'm not an active IL-2 player anymore, off- or online, SHIII + GWX 2.0 being my favourite poison de jour now, so as concerns this great tug-of-war between the modders and the purists I really don't give a shit anymore. So let bygones be bygones everyone, OK?
All that said I'm still interested in the game just for laughs, i.e. I still like to jump into an I-16 and fly a couple of circuits - and some aerobatics too - with my morning coffee during my days off. But what's the point, really, when the planes are bloody Klown Kars as regards their ground handling - or, in other words, where the hell is the torque??? Now I'm definitely no-one's expert by a long shot, but even a dimbulb like myself knows you _cannot_ jump into a high-powered single-engine fighter and just shove the throttle forward without the thing ending up wrapped around the control tower - or worse!
So is there a way of increasing the bugger somehow?
PS. I understand this question has to do w/ altering the FMs, but I thought I'd still ask because I'm not seeking a competetive edge over anyone with this. Or have you guys ever heard of a cheater who wants to make it HARDER for himself... S! all and keep up the good work guys.
