I'll try to provide a greek voicepack if this is completed!
Did the Mexican units operating with the USAAF speak in english or spanish?
They flew in the Philippines.

58th FG i think, yes the Mexican p-47 pilots had a mix of spanish and english in their radio traffic. I know a fella who's grandfather was a ground crew Chief for the 311th, and he said the Mex Squad (#?) went everywhere they did. He said it was really irritating to his grandpa when two groups flew in the same actions and the radio traffic was mixed between english and spanish....
However that is basicly heresay, as in someone told me this story, I didn't read it in a history book or article.
Has there been a mod released to add these new nations yet, I've heard this has been done, but... did Anyone do an Italian Air Force?
That would be cool to play against Malta in the early days!
There is an Italy pack available which adds an Italian voicepack, plus some single missions, coops and campaigns- Italy is a playable nation but 1C never added the voicepack to IL2.
Idea:
there are 2 of every plane, right? One for the owner country, and another for everyone else. Right now, there is a B-25D mod using the B-25J as the model. Set to "USAF" the D appears, and I think with "Multi" the J appears, right? If this is the case, for some countries we could add USAAF2 (or some, similar name). It would point at all the same stuff as USAAF. By adding this new country, we'd be able to have US planes flying with 2 variants bashed.
Such a technique could also work for mods like the Spit I, the Spit V is set to one GB, and another (UK?) uses the multi and has the replacement Spit I.
In this way the "frankenplanes" would belong to a country not used in any stock campaigns, etc., so you could have both at once (if that makes any sense).

I was thinking the same thing. It would also greatly assist in creating more varied radio and speech tracks too.
