[TEC] What determines static plane markings?

Not the skins, the national markings and the specific plane numbers/letters?

Do you mean how can you choose the national markings? I'm sure you must mean something else but if not, select the nation of your choice in the Properties tab of the FMB Objects dialogue box.

No, I mean the numbers, etc.

When you place statics in the FMB, they get random plane numbers. What determines what those numbers look like. This is a modding question, not an FMB question.

For example, I can change the default skins for the static USN planes to be a stunning blank made by a good skinner. They still get stuck with harsh white plane numbers.

This is a good question. I have also noticed that even though I have Mat Manager installed and working properly on all non statics, some statics still have the default harsh markings.

How did you get MAT manager working on 4.08?
I can only change markings manually.. Cry
