How easy would it be to make an Hs123 from the CR42?
The shape seems similar. Maybe substitute the engine cowling from the Arado Ar196

The Hs 123 would be very handy to have for early war scenarios, being extensively used for ground support in Poland and France. It stayed in use up until 1944. Also 12 delivered to China where they were used against the Japanese in 1938, including attacks against IJN warships.

Failing a full mod maybe a skin mod would be enough, if its not been done already?

This would be a very nice mod indeed. Engines cowlings could be arado, glad or G50, depending on which one looks best. Wheel spats could also be removed, giving it a frontline look & making it different to the cr42.
