Well, as for the flight model, and armament's - they will see the results of what has been modified... damage model... well, just spitballing - but if its a continuation of the clone results, then in theory they should see the base model's DM...
OK, suitable for Spits or Typhoon. But what about completly new aircraft, ie. He-219 Uhu ?
Again, it would show (if this is how it is done) the base model the model was built from.. For example, say who ever builds a lovely little Uhu, built it from say a 110, or what ever... then, those without the mod, would see the 110 (or what ever) instead of the UHU... not a desirable outcome - BUT its THE neccesary evil I'd imagine (NOTE: IF this is the way it works)...
As a side note, for those of you who remember, old CFS-1, if you didnt have the plane the other person was flying; you'd see the spit mk1 flying around with her wheels down - no matter what the actual plane was (for example it could be a F-15; it could be anything - but its still a generic effect)
Obiously if its the way I think this is, then this will still turn out to be more preferable.
Its possible that other negative effects are; an invisable plane, or even a situation where the game will crash. Who knows. The matter is we dont untill its achived and trailed.

Cool news but I can think of a dozen aircraft that we should have in the sim besides yet another Spitfire.

Quite happy if it is only offline compatible. I grew tired of online play some time ago and don't think I'll ever go back. 8)
Thats rather interesting there Loku - if someone in the game was to press the old score key, did it show you in any aircraft?
And just to elaborate, have you checked with one of the new planes, with someone else with the plane on the server... did you two see each other...?
Any news on the progress?
