Spitfire bubble top

Hey Ranwers, a couple of quick questions...

Is this going to be a Merlin powered MkXVI? (Please say yes *crosses fingers*)

Is she this going to occupy her own slot?

And will she have a modified, correct FM? Or will it be based of a standard spit?

At anyrate, again, fantastic work Ranwers, absolutly fantastic - and I remember you saying to me that this was impossible  thank good you've proved yourselve wrong

Keep up the good work!

Totalspoon, Slipper raises a good point here - can it be made smaller...? If not, why not look at the likes of the P-51-D, she has a better rearward view...?

Cannot wait for this sexy wee girl. Fantastic!

Dunno. Probably not. I said merlin because I felt the need to say it. It was a question regarding if it was going to be labled as a '16 or not...

My apology to Ranwers if I've upset you. My previous post was a poor form of sarcasm, which isn't appropriate where English isn't most peoples first language. I have deep respect for the high quality work you do.

My post was simply trying to get a the fact that the Bubble topped Tempest (picture shown) has about the worst rear view of any fighter in game. In 1943 ADFU stated

"Search View and Rear View
21. The all-round view from the pilot's cockpit is excellent, especially the rear view. This has been made possible by the "tear drop" hood which gives the pilot a better all-round unobstucted (sic) view than any other aircraft- Hun or friendly. It is also fitted to some Typhoons. "

Sorry

I believe you might be right in saying that MrJolly. Is there a way to merge, for example the P-51-D's rearward section of the internal canopy, with the Spits forward..?

I had thought so. Ranwers, sorry to cause offence by bringing up the topic of the cockpit. I thought the two subjects would be the same Sad
