For the first time today I tried the Gladiator; I was flying for the RAF and I was supposed to be flying a British plane made by British Gloster for the British Royal Air Force.
Imagine my surprise when I found German instruments in my mixed-language German-Swedish cockpit!
Well, OK, I guess that was meant to represent a Finnish version of the Gladiator but would like to have a Cockpit with British instruments, possibly with two sets of files we can use to overwrite the one currently installed in order to switch back and forth between Britsh and Finnish cockpit.

I downloaded the gladiators that you made
I was wondering if you could see your was to replacing the IJN zero gunsights into the RAF gunsights.
The Gladiators were among the first aircraft to use the MkII gunsights that were used by the Spitfire and the Hurricanes.

The J8A gladiators on the other hand used Revi-3's

Yeah this is a good idea for a mod. I'd love to see a proper British Gladiator.

If this is true it should be changed in the original Gladiator mod.

In the mean time you can change it yourself by creating a J8A folder and copying sojka's reticle files from his original reticle mod found in the download section to it. The Gladiators load from the J8A folder. Right now it looks like we can't have different reticles for the J8A and Gladiators.

Sorry if this is silly, But what Gladiator Mod?

The only thing I know of, that you could be talking about is the AAA packs where you get to Fly the gladiator thats already in the game.

Is there a seperate Gladiator Mod? Looked for it, never saw it, had to ask thought since I'm helping do the Malta DCG.

They're in the download section listed as Gladiator MkI 1937 With Cockpit and Gladiator MkII 1937 With Cockpit. As far as I can tell it just allows you to select them by name and fly them with the J8A cockpit.

This helped out a lot.

I've deleted the Gladiator mod files and created a folder \MODS\ReticlesMod\3DO\Cockpit\J8A
I've inserted sojka's reticle files into this and it worked
I then reinstalled the peacelovinghippy's Gladiator mod and it now retains the Mk II gunsight.
I've also tried the Revi files and those work as well
