I have retextured Finsgulf map. Here it is:

It comes with installer and map appears as new map in FMB. You can find load.ini with my prefix in \IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\MODS\MAPMODS\maps\finsgulf \Kt_load and Kt-load_w. This is only for 409m beta because i have used Slovakia textures. If you want to use my map as default finsgulf map just rename my Kt_load.ini to load.ini. Rename you original load.ini to
;load.ini before.
It looks like new map now!

Perkele! 8) This is the only word u need in finnish. its a name of ancient god and now we use it as swearing. I used it a lot during my learning process of map making!

I can only mod maps. I leave other things to real gurus. There is still lot to learn in mapmaking. like new actors tools and now Autopop and how to make custom textures...PERKELE! 8) :twisted: :wink:

I would like to dedicade my maps for my uncle Samuli (Samuel). He was a WW2 veteran (riffleman) and was wounded badly. I will always remember him.

Hi there kapteeni - nice work!

I don't know how far you map modding skills go, but as I am really interested in the Finnish Airforce in WW2, I think what we FAF-enthusiasts REALLY need is a Svir Front map! (The area between Ladoga and Onega.)

There was a lot of air action over this part of Carelia in real life that really deserves to be rectreated in IL-2. I am a campaign builder myself, and modding maps seems to be magic to me.

But such a map would be a dream come true!
