ok we are running into problems with the site again !

We just had a major crash due to a full vps hard drive

The problems are ....
Slow speed browsing - due to high traffic
Hard drive on VPS almost to the limit
Heavy traffic causing crashing in some cases & so server reboots sometimes

the solution to these problems is an upgrade, so we need to goto Dedicated Server at $110 a month

but we cannot do this without more donations.

Hi Mr. Jolly,

I take so much from this website and the modders, but I really have nothing I can contribute as far as actual modding goes, so the one thing I can give is money. I made a second contribution on March 11 (doesn't show up on the contribution thread, so I hope you got it; Paypal says so anyway) but I could see making a monthly "subscription." I don't know how popular it would be, but a method to voluntary contribute on a monthly or quarterly basis might get you some regular help. In the meantime, I'll continue to make contributions periodically. You modders have made this sim come alive again, and the new stuff just keeps on coming, it is worth it to me to help keep you afloat. There certainly are others who feel the same.

saunders1953... whatever you can do is appriciated, if more people can just donate a little then it would make all the difference. It thanks to people like you that this site operates at a good level - we are very keen to upgrade to dedicated server , this should make a massive difference to the general browsing speed.. lets hope we can do it thx again
