I am not using the flat canopy mod but, I think best would be to have it compatible with both variants.

+1

Im sure if you send the files to Mr Jolly he can make it into a 1 click easy exe. Truly amazing work man, the best I have see for sure. I can only wish you continue on to more aircraft. Heck it will feel like we are flying some of those fine FSX aircraft.

waggel: i KNEW it Smile thanks for the feedback, didn't have the guts to change. it's even mispelled in this cockpit: http://www.clubhyper.com/reference/fw19 ... shMap.html

When it coes to weathering in parts that maybe shouldnt be weathered, Some texture are reused allover the cockpit so i have to chose what part of the cockpit should look best. For example, I was going to make nice effects where the glass meets the edges, but then I saw that the glass is reused on the windshields and over the pilot, even the little armor glass in the back has the whole glass texture in it, so I could only make reflections on the sides Sad

Also I have another problem, I can find the fw 190 A4-A5 damaged gauges but I can't find the A8/A9/D9 ones, so I don't know what to name them, so there's no damaged at the moment Sad

has anyone been looking in the files and maybe seen them somewhere in some SFS file?

I played for 3 hours today in the "skies of valor" server, no crash on the 1024 textures, (with the 8800GTX OC) but IMHO the 512 variant looks almost the same and its like 100times smaller, so people with weaker gfx cards should do fine on that one.

cheers!

It's really Wagerecht. I don't know why, because "waagerecht" means "horizontally" in german. Maybe - in the past - was different rules for this word in german language.

Here is a little proof. It's not enough sharp for reading, but enough for recognize, that there is not enough space for double A between "W" and "g".

Thank you for the help guys! The cockpit is being uploaded and checked by Mr Jolly, one LITE and one hi res version, plus replacement textures for the canopy mod, (with one a on the wagerecht lol)

I'll see if i can find the damage textures, menwhile, i would appreciate if anyone could shout when they see their cockpit damaged, and report back to what it looks like (I have only got my cockpit damaged in online gaming 4 or 5 times in the fw 190 since like, 2001

Time to finish the FW 190 A4-5-6, also, does anyone know if someone's working on the p 47? don't want to steal that guy's project, but if not, I might go for it, it seems to be the ockpit many peeps want updated.

Cheers

PS: I've been flying inverted over a formation of B 17's, 7 times now, but still no damages in cockpit Smile

I always make a track when I go on server. So if some cockpit parts of my FW are damaged, I can upload the track and post it here.

Thanks for doing this!

Someone is working on the P47 cockpit -- perhaps you could pool your considerable talents?
