I suspect the majority of these wacky designs were for propaganda and disinformation purposes.

5 Mosquitos would be capable of delivering more ordinance, more effectively and with better survival rates than a beast like this.
(Let alone finding a runway wide enough - Dublin airport comes to mind , though it sure is darn short Wink )
