Hi to all.
It is possible to add with some special MOD to be abble to have reload of fuel and ammo, when you park the airplane in a specific area? And perhaps to have some minor repairs and heal if you are wounded.
In FS2004 and FSX you can get close with your airplane where the fuel is and have automatic refueling.
As far as I know this has been slated for Storm of War (but then again, lots of things have been slated, and lots more are confirmed to be absent from the final product. Just Maddox keeping his deceptive reputation going....)
Not sure if its possible in IL2, but would certainly be fantastic! 8)
Yes that would be bloody cool for online game pls some body do that
I saw this on a DF server once. Think it was a button called "Re-fly" or something.
Of course if you want absolute realism get a random timer to start your missions. You could sit around for hours waiting for the scramble bell - some days nothing at all would happen, or get it to wake you in the early hours for a daylight bombing mission. Relive the suspense, the boredom and the half eaten breakfasts of those uncertain days.
And each barrage ballon you destroy, you reach a another life ....
No-one said or asked for anything stupid like that did they... (with your rolling sarcastic eyes)!!
My post above is fact.. Deal with it.
I would see it if implemented, as it would have been for real.. If your pilot is injured, then you wouldn't go up again.. If your aircraft has been damaged then you wouldn't be able to get back into it, the mission would end there.. If you have managed to return unscathed and uninjured, then just like for real in the battle over Malta's skies, your aircraft would be re-armed and re-fueled and you would have the option to take off again to vector into the incoming enemy bomber stream..
Now this is a great addition to people like me who play alot of online wars or co-ops..
Not every mission that you fly would lend itself to this kind of option, but in certain operations it would be perfectly feasible, just as it was for real.
100% with Trooper117  Good to see someone keeping a cool head and realistic perspective on this 8)
