Hello!
I've done a fw 190 cockpit mod and the cloud mod and now I'm trying to replace the default landscape textures.
I tried to do so after reading a tutorial about texture replacing.
So I started out on the crimea map, but there must be something i have missed, because after the whole "load.ini" and "filelist.txt" editing, my crimea map won't load.
My goal is to basically make a set of more realistic textures from scratch that everyone can use for their maps.
It seems tho that the simplest tutorial won't work for me.
I copied the crimea map from one of the SFS files, and started to edit a tecture of a village.
I put the map in the "files" folder, and then i tried to put it in the MODS folder, (following the instructions of the tutorial) but nothing seems to work. as soon as I start the crimea map in quick mission builder the game says something similar to: "fail load.ini : lanscape"
even if I have the same path to the exact same texture (edited the texture and gave it the same name as the stock one)
Is there a thread I might have missed?
if anyone has time, please write something here, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks from a mod-hungry artist
