Agreed. Yes, it's the modder's word thats final. And I'm grateful for every mod as I don't have these skills.
I was only asking, how they want to do the flight model, if they want to make "what if" plane...

The modders word is final.. Full stop!
However, my point of view in a perfect WWII sim world would be to have essential workhorses of all nations first.. That said, I don't make mods, so I must respect the modders wishes.
I would like to think that my requests are just that.. requests, and not demands.. there is a big difference.

Modders should make whatever they like. It's all for free out of the kindness of their hearts.

Looking forward to your new projects, Slow.

Let them build what they want. If you dont like it. Learn how to do it yourself.

+ 100

I imagine that the flight model will involve the projected performance data(if avalible) If not, once agian,it's up to the modder. And by the way I'm here because i love this game and because these guys have taken the time to make our little sim into something no-one would thought it would ever be(and for free!),why cant some of your guys be happy with that, remember it's fun!!(prob just as fun making this stuff for the modders as it is to fly!)

once again

If you dont like it. Learn how to do it yourself

cheers guys for ya hard work and seemingly infinite patience ~S~

[quote="hades"]I see that some people here didn't even understand what i wrote, or they were so anxious to make a rather impolite comment. I didn't "force" anybody to "work for me" or anything else. No need to say that i appreciate all the people here who make new stuff for the game, Slow included.
Well, write anything you want, i won't waste more keystrokes

hades Wrote:Then maybe it would be useful to have 2 sections of fighters for download:
One for the planes that saw action and one for experimental planes.
So it will be more clear.
Again my point of view with no offense:
Some guys here have so many open-projects. I know also that the time needed for a new fighter is not just a couple of days. So because time is of great value (for everybody and especially for the modders) why then someone who has many open projects not focus on real planes? If he focus on the real planes -instead of the fictional- than these fighter will have the best quality. He will not be forced to compromise the quality because of time-pressure. Its common sense.
I know its fun to have fictional-panes but maybe the real ones are a more realistic goal.
Moreover real ones are far better documented (armament, technical specs, handling, flight model, etc....)

Regards,

it's fine as it is.
those that are able - do, those that aren't - whine and bitch.
they make what they want, and that's all fine and dandy. saying that it would be comon sense and reasonable is purely your opinion. likewise you are setting goals and not aiming to acheive them yourself. quoting plato doesn't really help your cause much, if anything it proves the point against, as you are not adding anything other than noise to the clamour for the modders to do things that are requested of them as opposed to chosen by them.

Guys

We are all on common ground here. I too agree with you about most of the things written in this thread. All I was trying to say is I enjoy flying the historical planes that made our history into what it is today. If they want to make a plane that had no historical value then thats fine too, but I think that 99.9 % of the people playing the game would love the mod even more if it was related to an aircraft in the game or that was used during that period. Just my 2 cent though, so no hard feelings..Its still the best WWII flight sim out there..

Yes indeed, you all made a point. Why I make this and no older thing? Hmm, I was busy with a Do-17 until the fuselage of a Tu-2 was adjusted a bit - no cockpit work, like a pre-pre-alpha and the thread was RAPED by people who said it didn't look like it :? no it doesn't... YET
So I started on something fresh, not wanting that for a minute... it'll come back.
