K-14 is usable, but I think its actual service history would have been muted by the Ta-152C which it would have served beside, been made obsolete by and probably withdrawn against.

It's a great plane for interest sake, but I'd love to see a production variant Ta-152C-1, C-2 and C-3 versions in the game (variant selected by armament option), featuring the DB-603L engine with the intercoolers (the il2 model is the less reliable 603LA of the C-0). I'd guess they'll go in the wings like Messerschmitt radiators.
With the reliability issue of the Ta-152C fixed the Axis finally has a high performance late-war/post-war fighter type every bit the equal of anything in the Allied arsenal. I mean the C-0 unserviceability just kills it against say, the P-47D (150-octane).

In a 1946 campaign for example, why is German industry still handicapped by production quality, assuming the industrial/war machine is in a totally different state?
The HGII Me-262 and Go-229 should also be re-modelled for reliability similar to the MiG-9, since similar manufacturing processes would have been used as the post-war Russian remanufacture of the Jumo/BMW jet engines.

Just some thoughts. Hope we get an Me-109T as well. I want to give Germany an aircraft carrier. Is the carrier version of the Ju-87C also called the Ju-87T?
No, it's Ju-87C-1 - the B-2/CarrierModification

Well, ok, but post new topics if you want to talk about Stukas and Doras. This one is about K-14.

So is here any person that could make this aircraft?

Sorry mate

How about adapting the Mark VIII/IX two stage supercharger modelling to the K-4? Could add a pair of underwing Mark 108 but remove any FM handicap they give? Maybe you could "absorb" part of the Mark 108 pods into the wing for a more historical effect?
You'd probably want to give K-4 (C3) performance up to 6km and then give another curve to the FM so the engine output treats the distance 7-9km like it was 4-6km. Then I guess it'd take something like a Mark XIV to compete, but balances that mod out nicely.

Just some random thoughts on the project, I know nothing about modding.

You wouldnt add underwing pods to gain the wing guns - thats not what they are, mearly merge them with the wing, like the E series.

So this project died?

It's a pity.

I wouldnt say that - I believe its in the "In-Tray" in the "To-Do" list on Slow's desk. She'll get there. I have faith Smile But the poor fellow's buried himself in work.

This bird is another that I reckon would be nice to have... Would be a nice addition. Always wanted to see what the ole girl would be like with a 4 bladed prop. Always thought it would be a nice, refreshing change Smile

Hahahahah.... Well that's right... You'll see another Luft '46 about like... today... The first screenshots, at least... Won't tell you what it is yet.

But is this so big problem? It differs from K-4 only with 2 stage supercharger, wing cannons and 4 blade propeller... If I had some modding abilities I would do it, but I'm totally unexperienced in this subject Sad

Modding is not as simple as you all think. Why are so many people so ignorant?

Because they have no idea of whats required to be blatently honest. No matter how many times its told to them...

Dont stress Slow, you have more supporters than nagger's mate.

Also, if anyones working on this lemme know now, because I know someone who is already working on this... But no more details from there. It may come, it may not.

What most people don't realise is the extraordinary amount of work required simply to make the SLIGHTEST change. Nevermind the difficulties that even those core modders, working as a team, still have with some things.

I repeat my previous word;

Heh not stressing mate... Just getting pissed off slightly by some people. The good thing is that we've got a supporting community. And those who annoy don't do it on purpose. I hope. They're just ignorant.
