hi i'm new here. i found this map very interesting and i always wished to have a map of malta for the il2. i already downloaded it but didnt installed it yet, its says that it needs version 4.09. where i can find this version, and if i install the new version does it affects the other sound mods that i already installed from this website ?

can anybody give me an anwser

i been having a problem over the island big fps drop, and i don't know why in the main land it ok but over the island becomes really bad drops from 60fps to 18 or less, are you planning to fix this issue???

There are three versions of the map .... light/normal/heavy with different amounts of buildings..... which version are you using?

Maraz, is this the final version then? Do you intend to fix the (rather small/pretty much insignificant) bugs that people have found?

I ask because I am in the process of making a semi-historical campaign of the Siege of Malta (from the first bombings all the way up to the invasion of Sicily) and I am, of course, using this map.

If this is the final version you intend to release, would I be able to have your permission to address the bugs that have been pointed out, as well as a few I have found? They are for the most part, rather small, I'd just like to see them fixed.

I would be willing to then release an update to the public, again with your permission first, and of course with your name still attached to it, as it is your work.

Getting this problem too - massive fps drop over Valetta, even on the 'light' map.

Fantastic Map...great addition to IL2! Wish we had this map available in 2005-2007 when we were making the IL2 movie, "Faith, Hope, and Charity"!!! We had to use a 'make-believe' map...

There appears to be a bug of some sort with the map. When looking at a certain part of the island (near to Valetta) there is a huge FPS hit. There is a similar issue with the Norway map in the Banff area.

Any ideas on a fix from anybody?
