Any idea what this is?



Note: I didn't change anything before this happened apart from the resolution, and this only occurs in the campaign i'm playing: Purple smoke and bad spinning prop effects.

Did you, maybe, change colour depth to 16 bit by mistake? 16-bit will give you some odd colours in smoke and dust.

Very funny... And the fire from the rockets was green! It looked like Tie fighter blasters or something.

I had a similar problem last week...... whilst playing......my mouse would stop working...then the objects and other planes just "pop' disappeared from view...then my plane went all funny colours and then the whole screen went odd.....I could just make out enough to close the mission and the game

I put it down to overheating.......we had a hot spell then......so i have the side off my tower and a big fan directed at it.........TIT.....(this is thailand)

You might wanna watch it then... that pic was taken when I was running my 7900GS... it basically melted, due to the heat of summer, coupled with a inadequate heatsink/fan.
