If I convert the work done so far to use LAL_Rone's amazing Normandy 44 map... what is AAA's policy going to be towards it?

got nothing to do with AAA ...... you'll need LAL_Rone's ok for using it

and you won't be able to post link to that site here at AAA....

however if you got LAL_Rone's permission to include his map files in your campaign download .... that's ok ( as long as prefix and AAA map mods structure are respected )

Hm, why don't you just set it up for IL2DCG? Torpedoing or paradrops work smoothly and all new aircrafts are easily addable as regular planes
