I have Nvidia 8800GT and run the game in perfect mode with with good level of Fraps but....
I have instaled the AntiAircraftArtillery mode and in some missions of some campaign, especially in attacks on ships with a lot of flak in the air, I suffer severe downturn in the level of fraps

.... waited four years to be able to switch to perfect .... running it for two years now and nothing could make me switching back

Nvidia 7800 GT Perfect. I have lags with heavy scenery. Bust mostly its ok.

I have been using Perfect mode for some time now as I noticed little frame rate drop from excellent.
With 4 x AA and AF set to application (Anisotropic) at 1280 x 1024 (My LCD native setting) I get 74 average FPS. Get occasional drops to high 20's with many burning ground targets over a city.
My system is no longer top of the line but decided to keep it another year. Intel E6400 CPU with 2 gigs XMS DDR2 PC 800 Ram Cas 4, 320 gig SATA drive with a nVidia 7950GT PCI express video card.
