Jokes aside, maybe those older tanks would give out some back smoke more easily than their modern counterparts.

I looked through my old mod collection and I think you want these so i sent them to my download site
MOD FUMEE Poussiere ...has the tank dust
mod fumee trains et vehicules ....gives a better smoke for the train than the normal black one...and improvements to smoke from destroyed vehicles etc.

That's mighty good of you Fabien. I thought it was all over.
For anyone else who's not quite sure, just chuck the 'files' folder that's in the download into your MODS folder. Real dust. It's sweet!

looks great.... FWIW, most older european tanks were diesel (weren't they?) and thus smoked a lot (I think most US tanks were gas). Now a-days, they are turbines and don't smoke particularily.

German tanks weren't diesel... :wink:
In fact, the most of the diesel tanks were soviets...
