Hey Folks,

Just a little something for those of you that wish to eliminate the on screen text messages that appear whenever the ai pilots talk to each other & or call home base etc ...

I found the text constantly appearing a bit distracting at times & couldn't find any info regards eliminating it, so had a look in the conf.ini file & discovered a pretty simple fix which may or may not be known.

Open the conf ini file - go to the "Game" section - locate "Nosubtitles=0" & change it to Nosubtitles=1 - close & your done.

Apologies if I'm reinventing the wheel on this one & someone already has this info out there.

upload image on some host server like photobucket or such ....

in your post :
tag is [img]pic%20filename+path[/img] ..... or type filename + path ... select it and click IMG button ( from format menu )



.... and yes, chatter thing is well known i'm afraid

You can also get rid of their voices if you don't want to hear them, by going to the same place and editing, "NoChatter=0" to =1. You can also make the gunners aboard ship appear by adding a line in the [game[ section that reads, "3dgunners=1". If it causes too much of a hit on your frame rate, just change it to =0.
